Should I choose a bathtub or a shower enclosure for my bathroom?

The choice depends on the size of the bathroom, daily habits and personal preferences. A bathtub is suitable for longer baths and relaxation, while a shower enclosure is a practical solution for quick showers and more efficient use of space. Compact shower enclosures are generally preferred for smaller bathrooms.

What types of bathtubs are available?

The main types include freestanding, corner, built-in and whirlpool bathtubs. Freestanding models are suitable for spacious bathrooms, while corner bathtubs allow more efficient use of space. Whirlpool bathtubs feature jets that provide additional comfort and a relaxing massage.

What shower enclosure is suitable for a small bathroom?

Compact corner, square or quadrant shower enclosures are suitable for smaller bathrooms. When choosing a model, consider the room dimensions, the position of other bathroom fixtures and the door opening mechanism. Sliding doors are particularly practical because they do not require additional outward opening space.

What is the difference between a shower enclosure and a shower screen?

A shower enclosure defines the shower area using glass panels and doors, helping prevent water from spreading across the bathroom. A shower screen is a fixed or movable partition that allows a more flexible shower layout. The choice depends on the bathroom configuration and preferred design.

What types of shower screens are available?

The main types include fixed, sliding and folding shower screens. Fixed models are suitable for modern shower areas with a minimalist appearance, sliding screens save space when opening, and folding screens are practical for compact bathrooms. Consider the dimensions of the shower area and ease of use when selecting a model.

What should I consider when choosing a bathtub, shower enclosure or shower screen?

The most important factors are bathroom dimensions, materials, design, functionality and budget. For bathtubs, consider the shape and installation space required. For shower enclosures and screens, check the type of glass, door opening mechanism and ease of cleaning. The right choice provides comfort and practicality in everyday use.
