Until recently, the gray bathroom was one of the most popular choices for a modern interior. Gray granite tiles, white sanitary ware, chrome faucets and a minimalist look - this was the sure formula for a stylish bathroom. In 2026, however, trends are changing. The bathroom is no longer perceived as just a practical room, but as a personal space for peace, comfort and recovery.

Renovating a standard bathroom, about 4-5 sq m, in Bulgaria in 2026 costs an average of between €4,500 and €8,500, depending on the quality of the materials. Professional labor costs account for nearly 40% of the total, with prices in Sofia being about 15-20% higher than in the country.
