What products are included in the Paradyż Taurus collection?

The Paradyż Taurus collection includes basic clinker floor tiles, textured wall and façade tiles, straight stair tiles, Kapinos stair tiles with a shaped front edge, corner stair elements, skirting tiles and windowsill tiles. The selection of special elements makes it possible to create coordinated floors, walls, terraces, balconies, façades and staircases.

Which colours are available in the Taurus collection?

At Siko, the collection is available in Taurus Brown and Taurus Grys. Brown is a warm brown shade suitable for classic and rustic spaces, while Grys offers a more neutral grey appearance that combines easily with contemporary façades, metal, concrete and stone.

Which areas are Paradyż Taurus clinker tiles suitable for?

Depending on the individual product, Taurus tiles can be used on terraces, balconies, stairs and façades, as well as in hallways, living rooms and entrance areas. Basic tiles are intended for floors, wall models for cladding, and special stair and corner elements for finishing staircases.

Is the Taurus collection suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. The floor and stair elements in the collection are frost-resistant and suitable for terraces, balconies and outdoor stairs. Exterior installation requires adhesive and grout intended for clinker tiles and outdoor conditions. The installation must also provide the correct slope, effective water drainage and suitable movement joints.

Do Taurus tiles have a slip-resistant surface?

The manufacturer specifies an R10 slip-resistance rating for the reviewed basic floor tiles and stair elements. This makes them a practical choice for terraces, balconies, stairs and other areas where improved walking stability is required. The rating should be checked for each individual product because wall tiles have a different intended use.

Is the Paradyż Taurus collection suitable for covering stairs?

Yes. The collection includes straight stair tiles, Kapinos stair tiles with a shaped front edge and corner stair elements. They provide a precise finish for straight sections, front edges and external staircase corners. The stair tiles can be combined with basic tiles and skirting tiles in the same colour.

What is the difference between a straight stair tile and a Kapinos stair tile?

A straight stair tile is a flat clinker element intended for covering the horizontal part of a step. A Kapinos model has a shaped and thicker front edge that covers the front line and gives the staircase a more finished appearance. Special corner stair tiles are used for external corners.

Which sizes are available in the Paradyż Taurus collection?

The main sizes include 30 × 30 cm for basic tiles and straight stair tiles, 30 × 33 cm for straight Kapinos stair tiles, 30 × 30 cm and 33 × 33 cm for corner stair elements, approximately 24.5 × 6.6 cm for textured wall tiles, 8.1 × 30 cm for skirting tiles and 10 × 20 cm for selected windowsill elements. Check the exact dimensions on the individual product page.

Are Paradyż Taurus clinker tiles rectified?

The reviewed Taurus basic and stair tiles are non-rectified. They must therefore be installed with a visible joint, which compensates for permitted differences between individual tiles and contributes to the characteristic appearance of a clinker surface.

Which joint width is recommended for the Taurus collection?

A minimum joint width of 3 mm is recommended for basic tiles and straight stair elements. For outdoor installation, the recommended width is at least 5 mm. The manufacturer also specifies a minimum joint width of 5 mm for Kapinos stair tiles. The exact width should be selected according to the product, substrate and installation conditions.

What does the V2 shade variation of Taurus tiles mean?

A V2 shade variation means that there may be slight and controlled differences in colour and pattern between individual tiles. These variations give the finished surface a more natural appearance. Mixing tiles from several boxes and arranging them before installation is recommended.

How should Paradyż Taurus clinker tiles be cleaned?

For regular cleaning, use water, a mild cleaning product and a sponge or brush that will not scratch the surface. Adhesive and grout residue should be removed promptly with a product suitable for clinker tiles. Do not use highly abrasive tools or aggressive chemicals without checking the manufacturer's instructions.

How should the required quantity of Taurus clinker tiles be calculated?

Measure the area to be covered and add an allowance for cutting, breakage and future repairs. For a standard straight installation, an additional allowance of approximately 7–10% is generally recommended. Diagonal layouts, complex shapes and multiple corners may require a larger allowance. Stair tiles, skirting tiles and corner elements should be calculated separately by unit.
