Powder pigment based on high-quality pearl mica that is mixed with Kerapoxy Easy Design to create a metallic effect.

Add 3% by weight of Mapecolor Metallic to Kerapoxy Easy Design to prepare metallic effect grouts, particularly suitable for grouting metal tiles, ceramic tiles with a metallic effect, glass and ceramic mosaics and glass tiles. Always carry out preliminary tests before grouting stone materials, polished porcelain tiles or in the presence of porous or rough surfaces.

Mapecolor Metallic is a powder pigment based on high-quality pearl mica that creates a metallic effect. It is available in pre-dosed sachets (90 g, equivalent to 3% of the weight of a 3 kg pack of Kerapoxy Easy Design).

Mapecolor Metallic is available in the colours Moonlight (similar to platinum), Sahara (similar to gold), Shining (similar to silver), Red clay (similar to copper), Stardust (similar to silver). When mixed correctly, it allows the production of "metallic" grouts with an extremely attractive finish, capable of highlighting the coating on which they are applied, with a bright, shiny and decorative result.

To obtain a homogeneous mixture, we suggest adding Mapecolor Metallic in the desired color to Kerapoxy Easy Design 700 (translucent).

Mixing Mapecolor Metallic with Kerapoxy Easy Design in other colours can produce a variety of metallic effects of different intensity and shades. It is advisable to carry out preliminary tests as the result may vary depending on the colours and quantities used, but within the maximum dosage of 3% by weight, so that the workability of the grout/mortar is not affected.

Advantages:

  • Wider range of colors
  • Special decorative effects
  • Metallic effect grout
